Outreach Services are designed to link a variety of military and civilian support services with Soldiers, DOD Civilian, and their Families.

Services include:
- Home visits to geographically isolated families and junior enlisted Families
- Unit Briefing on all resources and services in the community
- Referrals to USAG Baden-Württemberg support agencies
- Support for Families with special needs members
- Information tables throughout the community
- Family Readiness Outreach
Outreach also provides Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) as part of the Army Family Covenant commitment. Our purpose is to deliver on the Army’s commitment to Families of the Fallen. SOS connects you with people who can help you find the right support. Many times after you have lost a loved one, there are unresolved issues or questions that may surface months or years after the loss. SOS fosters resiliency and ensures access to all entitled benefits, financial counseling/planning and long term support. The Army is dedicated to fulfilling the Army Family Covenant by providing this support locally to Surviving Families.
Our mission is to build a unified program which embraces and reassures Survivors that they are continually linked to the Army Family for as long as they desire.
SOS will:
- Expand and improve services to Survivors
- Define roles and responsibilities for all agencies and all components
- Improve responsiveness and streamline the assistance process for Families
- Provide access to Benefits Coordinators, Financial Counselors and Support Coordinators locally, and Long Term Family Case Management
- Assist Casualty Assistance Officers to provide appropriate information/assistance to Survivors
- Ensure that Survivors are briefed and/or referred to Army Emergency Relief for needed assistance
- Conduct an annual Survivor Needs Assessment
- Conduct biannual SOS Seminars to brief Survivors on Federal Benefit Programs and changes
- Identify and provide outreach to Survivors in the Garrison catchment area
- See all Survivors on a walk-in basis
