The two new automated relocation tools are: Military Installations (MI) and Plan my Move (PMM). A sponsor can help your family and you get acquainted in your new community and can help you find all the local resources, both military and civilian. Most U.S. Army Soldiers with pinpoint assignments can request a sponsor through S-Gate. DOD civilians, contractors, and military of other services should contact the gaining agency or Heidelberg ACS directly to request a sponsor. Moving children: Moving families and changing schools is not easy but the U.S.A.G.Heidelberg Housing office and DoDEA schools will assist you after your arrival.
