Most U.S. Army Soldiers with pinpoint assignments can request a sponsor through S-Gate. DOD civilians, contractors, and military of other services should contact the gaining agency or Heidelberg ACS directly to request a sponsor. Moving children: Moving families and changing schools is not easy but the U.S.A.G.Heidelberg Housing office and DoDEA schools will assist you after your arrival. Moving pets: Pets are part of your household and they are very essential to the well-being of families. Pets are welcome, but make sure to follow pet shipping guidelines . Need more information?
