Deployment is never easy and it often takes a toll on both the Soldier and the Family. The Mobilization and Deployment program provides support services during disaster events and all phases of deployment to eligible family members at, or as near to, their hometown or home installation as possible. Mobilization and Deployment ensures that all Soldiers and civilians returning from deployment or redeployment from other operations are provided support in personal reconstruction, Family reunion and personal readiness.
The Mobilization and Deployment Program Manager will assist units and their Families in preparing for deployment. Unit Rear Detachments and Unit Family Readiness Groups will be contacted regarding any deployment events. Family Assistance Information Forms are available during the Soldier Readiness Program (SRP) process and are completely voluntary. These forms are mailed to the military installation closest to your Family to ensure they are welcomed if they need assistance while you are deployed.

Computer Lab
Soldiers and Family Members can use the ACS Welcome Center computer lab to access the Internet to maintain communications by e-mail, video e-mail, and instant messaging.
Hours of Operations Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Family Assistance Center (FAC)
This center serves as a central point for Soldiers and Family members during mobilization/deployment or disaster. The FAC is activated at the discretion of the Commanding General or his/her designee, upon a major mobilization, deployment and/or crisis that may occur by terrorist activities, accidents, or natural disasters. The FAC will assist the community providing essential services, referrals and counseling.
Virtual Family Readiness Group Web System: The Virtual Family Readiness Group (vFRG) Web System provides all the functionality of a traditional FRG on an online setting. The vFRG website is the Army’s online tool to provide FRG information to spouses. Soldiers must register spouses or other Family members under the unit website within the vFRG to allow access. The vFRG is the only official unit website: www.armyfrg.org
