RecTrac is FMWR's automated customer usage system. This integrated software system provides accurate reporting data by tracking the use of FMWR recreational facilities. Mandated by the Army FMWR Board of Directors, this management information system helps us provide better recreation service to our customers by monitoring program and facility usage. More importantly, evaluating RecTrac data will eventually aid in determining future funding to support FMWR programs.
In order to participate in FMWR programs or use FMWR recreation facilities (e.g. Sports & Fitness Centers, Automotive Shops, Clubs, Libraries, Kids' Zone, Community Activity Centers, and live Theater), Soldiers and Family members will be soon required to complete a simple one-time registration process. This process takes less than five minutes to complete, and there is no fee involved. Once registered in the RecTrac system, customers will need to scan (swipe) their military ID cards each time they visit an FMWR facility instead of using sign-in sheets. RecTrac scanners read the bar codes located on the back of eligible patrons cards. RecTrac is currently a voluntary program, but it will soon become an FMWR standard.
