Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center (KCAC) is a major catering venue that hosts everything from unit and command events, retirement and promotion parties, to private organizations monthly meetings. We also provide private meeting space for birthdays, weddings, showers or special events. You name it and we will try to accommodate it. With the ability to accommodate up to 300 people, this is the perfect place for your social and business gatherings.

This state-of-the-art conference and catering venue can host major protocol functions, dinners, weddings, and special events. We also have conference rooms to accommodate smaller groups.
The KCAC has a wide range of menu options available if you choose to serve a meal at your function. Click on the Menu Choices tab, above, to view samples of our culinary options.
We offer everything from breakfast, brunch and luncheon options to full dinner buffets and banquet selections, as well as themed buffet parties like Hawaiian Luau, an American Traditional Buffet, or a Country BBQ with Barbecued Spare Ribs and Sliced BBQ Beef. If you are looking for a more formal ambience, take a look at the Menu Options, which can include prime rib, Grilled Lemon Chicken, or Stuffed Flounder along with exotic salads and dozens of vegetable and starch options. Specialty items such as Fuzzy Naval Punch, grilled salmon steak, or carving stations with ham, prime rib or a whole turkey turn an ordinary event into an extraordinary occasion. For a lighter meal, try a hors d’oeuvres-only party package and allow your guests to indulge in their favorite hot or cold appetizers such as marinated Buffalo wings, spring rolls, mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat, vegetable crudités, artichoke dip and assorted finger sandwiches.

The Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center offers on- and off-site catering for the parties or functions in Kaiserslautern east. KCAC Bistro
The KCAC Bistro is open Monday - Friday for breakfast and lunch. Visit us from 6:30 - 10:00 a.m. for breakfast, and from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.for lunch.
Attending a morning in-processing class? Stationed on Daenner Kaserne? If you need a morning cappuccino to start your day, stop in to see us! Our staff will make you feel like part of the family.
At lunchtime, the KCAC Bistro is a great place to stop for a quick bite or a sit-down meal. You can even relax and watch our new big screen while you wait for your order! Come join us for lunch today!
In-Processing Training Center (ITC)
After completing all requirements of the Central Processing Facility, the In-processing Training Center (ITC) is the second stop for those newly arriving into Germany. Located in the KCAC, we offer a comfortable classroom setting where the community comes together to demonstrate what the Kaiserslautern Military Community has to offer.
Soldiers will be briefed on such things as Red Cross, MWR, BOSS., USO, VAT,and more. In addition, we offer the following mandatory trainings (as well as others outlined in AE 612-1):
• Alcohol/Substance Abuse
• SEADA
• Anti Terrorism/Force Protection
• Sexual Assault Prevention
• Customs
• Equal Opportunity
USAREUR Driver’s Training and Testing is offered every Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., and the Army Traffic Safety Course is given every Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
Upon completion of the five-day ITC Briefs, Soldiers will attend the German Headstart Program. Spouses, DA Civilians, Contractors and their Family members are invited to attend on a space available basis, in addition to any of the briefings and driver’s orientation and testing.
Soldiers are also given an introduction to the German culture and language, including a tour of the city. During the tour, attempt to order a meal or ask for directions in the host nation language! Upon completion of the ITC/German Headstart, Soldiers receive a DA form 87, worth 7 promotion points.
