Information & Referral at Your Service

If you are new to Mannheim and need assistance or information concerning your new community, come to ACS! We're located in building 253 on Sullivan Barracks.

The Information, Referral and Follow-up Specialist is available from 0730-1630 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 1300-1630 on Thursday, to offer a wide variety of assistance. We have flyers, maps, directions and pamphlets on many topics of interest. We can assist in finding you help in resolving your issues, either through research or using our extensive referral system. We can help with German-English translations and show you how to interpret and understand your phone and utility bills. We have a magazine stand, bulletin boards and display shelves containing information on ACS programs.

Of special interest may be Army Family Team Building, Deployment and Reunion,and Money Matters, as well as special events information from other community agencies.

We have a huge resource file and use the internet to find events and things to do and see in the Mannheim vicinity, the Rhine-Neckar Delta and other parts of Germany and Europe.You may register for our email distribution list to receive monthly information about Mannheim (i.e. events on the economy, one day trip suggestions, places to dine out, sporting events and opportunities…and many more options).
