Middle School/Teen
(MS/T) - The Middle School and Teen Programs operate separate programs for youth in grades 6-12.  Fields trips, homework labs, Youth Technology Labs, and approved Club activities are offered at both the Middle School and Teen Program sites.

Program Options for Youth Program; grades
6 through 12:

  • Youth ages 12 and above may sign in and out as they please. Younger youth need parental permission to leave the facility; however YP staff is not required to tell younger youth to remain on the premises.
  • Summer camp for Middle School Teen operates from June through August
  • Affiliated with National 4-H Counsel and Boys & Girls Clubs of America
    .

On-going Events
• Daily: Power Hour 3:30-4:30 p.m. & Goals for Graduation 5:30-6:30 p.m. – get help with your homework from a tutor.

• Daily: Character Counts - Learn about character building.

• Daily: Fine Arts Club 4-8 p.m. - Learn about culture including museums, art, dance, music, theatre, and crafts. Weekly lessons in Fine Art techniques, Arts & Crafts, and cooking.

• Daily: Fitness Authority 4-5:30 p.m. - Learn how to exercise properly and pick up tips on healthy eating.

• Every Tue: SMART Girls 4:30-6:00pm - Female Youth learn about different aspects of teen life.

• Every Tue: Passport 2 Manhood 4-5 p.m. & 6-7 p.m. - Male Youth learn about different aspects of teen life.
