Anger Management
This is a skill building resource for learning how to manage and control stressful issues resulting in feelings of anger and frustration.
Stress Management
Learn about the different types of stress and how they can affect your body and health, plus find resources on how to reduce the levels of stress in your life and manage the stress you experience.
HUGS Playgroup
HUGS is open to children birth to 4 years old. This playgroup is an interactional and educational group designed to develop parenting skills, socialization, and educational activities. It takes place each Thursday, 10-11:30 a.m. at the Kids’ Zone on Pulaski Barracks.
Nurturing Parenting
A 12-session program with topics including communication, feeling and needs, the importance of self-concept, personal power, and self-esteem. This program is geared for families with children ages 5-12 years.
Boot Camp for Dads
A class designed just for Dads on the “how-to” of parenting. He’ll learn important skills and pick up vital information -- from packing diaper bags to taking care of Mom! This class meets on the second Monday of each month at noon in the ACS conference room, Bldg. 2917 on Pulaski Barracks.
Basic Training for Parents
All you need to know about prenatal and postnatal care! New parents will gain valuable knowledge on what to expect before, during, and after labor and delivery, as well as helpful tips for parenting. This class meets on the third Monday of each month at 10 am in the ACS conference room, Bldg. 2917 on Pulaski Barracks.
