"Learn, Grow, Lead"

What is Army Family Team Building (AFTB)?
AFTB is a training program that was developed by the Department of the Army, Community and Family Support Center (DA-CFSC) to provide training and knowledge for our Army families. The training leads to skills, abilities and behaviors that will prepare the Army family to move successfully into the future.

What type of training does AFTB offer?
AFTB is a modular training that is organized into three levels. The program is flexible and the modules can also be taught for a unity or Family Readiness Group Meeting.

Level I – “Learn” Army
Learn about Army life and how to maneuver through daily challenges by discovering how to decipher Army acronyms, utilize Community recourses, attain better financial readiness and understand the goal and impact of the Army mission

Level II – “Grow” Personal Skills
Grow personally through the development of leadership skills and prepare  to take on leadership roles with your volunteer organizations or  employment institution.

Level III – “Lead” Others
Thrive in Army and civilian life by enhancing leadership skills, effective communication techniques and learning to mentor others into leadership roles.
